Avatar: The
Last Airbender was a successful series and till now it is quite famous.
The unique idea made it one of the best.
The legend
of Korra, a spin-off series of The Last Airbender, continues after 70
years of the event of The Last Airbender and where Aang has reincarnated into a
water bending girl Korra from the southern water tribe.
But many
people underestimate Korra as an Avatar and believe that Aang is the better
Avatar than her.
So today we discuss 5 points why Korra is deserving Avatar than the Avatar Aang.
1. Elemental Mastery and Adaptation: -Korra learned to bend 3 elements water,
earth and fire at the very young age of 6 and mastered all 3 of them at the age
of 17.
Usually, Avatar Aang doesn’t use another bending style rather than its native air bending. Whereas until Korra learned Air bending she uses all three-bending styles in fighting. Since Aang was an air nomad than like his native bending technique he was defensive in nature as like toph said “There is a no different angle, no clever solution, no trickity-trick That’s gonna move the rock”. But Korra well adapted to the nature of 3 bending styles is easy.
2. Threat Levels:-
Korra has faced 4 threat levels in her
small life span a blood-bending master, A combination of Dark Spirit and Spirit-Bending
Expert, A group of Elemental Masters and a dominant woman who wants to rule a
nation. Whereas Aang has faced only a Fire-bending king who was easier to kill.
I know that Aang was only 12-year-old
at that time and had not enough time to mastery the elements but also we can't
deny that Korra’s threat was dangerous.
3. Special Bending: -
Aang learned the special bending technique energy bending from the lion turtle and using it he took away the bending of Phoenix King and The Psychic blood-bender Yakone. Korra also learned that ability from Aang’s spirit connection but she didn’t stop there and she also learned special bending techniques like Spirit bending:- Advance water bending, Healing:- Advance water bending, Metal bending:- Advance earth bending.
4. Spiritual Side:-
Korra discovered the spiritual side of the world where she actually became the bridge between the spiritual and material world. She decided that every spirit and human is free to travel between both worlds and established the connection between them. Although this might cause chaos but she was ready to face it.
5. Element Preference: -
Aang seems to be unbiased towards
any element preference but as he grows up his biasness increased towards his own
native bending Air and as we all can sense in The Legend of Korra Ang always focus
on Tenzin, his youngest son, over his other two children, Bumi and Kya.
Whereas Korra seemed always unbiased toward any tribe or nation of any element.

Bonus Point: -
(1) LGBT Community: -
This is no comparison point but
only an appreciation point.
As we all know at the end Korra ended up with Asami and they both went to the spirit world ant that’s a very good step to increase awareness about LGBT community.
